Results of surveys conducted at Greensborough Road Surgery and Watsonia Road Medical Centre 

We are constantly striving to improve our Practice and value your feedback.
The following areas were highlighted by our patients as needing improvement:

  • Seeing the doctor of your choice: This can be achieved by making an appointment far enough in advance depending on the doctor you wish to see. We also have appointments reserved each day with a variety of doctors for urgent matters. Our staff will triage each circumstance and book these appointments accordingly. They are well trained in triage and will try to meet the needs of our patients as best as possible.
  • Opportunity for making a complaint: Making a complaint can be done by accessing our feedback form which is readily available in the waiting rooms of both clinics and on our website. We also accept e-mails and letters.
  • Telephone access to doctor and nurse: Our staff relay all messages and requests to a doctor or nurse. These matters are actioned according to the degree of urgency. Best practice standards in medicine are to discuss matters of patient concern in person, however where appropriate we respond via telephone to messages and requests.  In all other circumstances our staff will notify our patients when an appointment is required.
  • When a doctor is running late: Our staff will inform patients upon arrival if a doctor is running more than twenty minutes late. If a doctor is running more than one hour late our staff will endeavour to call patients to inform them. Patients are welcome to call ahead of their appointment to check how the doctor is running. To help prevent our doctors from running late please book an appropriate amount of time for your matters to be discussed.
