Appointments

Consultations for both, doctors and nurses are by appointment only and every effort is made to meet your needs of preferred time and doctor. Please phone during practice hours to make an appointment. A standard consultation is 10 minutes, if you require a longer consultation please advise when making an appointment. This helps us to schedule our day more efficiently and may mean less waiting time for you.

Longer consultations may be necessary for:

  • Insurance medicals
  • Women’s health checks
  • Health assessments
  • Multiple concerns
  • Travel health
  • Mental healthcare plans
  • Minor surgical procedures
  • Cases where more than one family member needs to be seen

Urgent Appointments

Each day there will be a certain number of appointments reserved for urgent matters. These are not routine matters or for multiple problems. It will be for the urgent issue only.

The available doctor may not be your doctor of choice.

The administration staff will triage urgent appointments in order for this system to work.

The NATIONAL HOME DOCTOR SERVICE is Australia’s most trusted provider of medical services in the home. This service is available from 6pm- 8am weekdays, 12 noon Saturdays and all day Sundays and public holidays. This a government initiative, therefore it is bulk billed.
