Feedback from recent patient survey

Survey feedback
We thank the patients that participated in our recent survey, and we really value your feedback.
The feedback from these surveys highlighted the following areas that we can improve on:
- The wait time in clinic
- Availability of making an appointment with your preferred doctor.
Ways in which we aim to improve these areas:
Waiting time in clinic:
- Patient awareness of what requires a longer consultation: added information to our website and ‘Practice Information Sheet’. This endeavours to help patients choose the appropriate length of their consultation to help doctors run better to time
- Informing patients of how many patients are in front of them. If there are one or more patients to be seen before you, the administration staff will notify you of how many. We understand this doesn’t affect the wait time but can help set appropriate expectations
Availability of preferred doctor
- We have evenly distributed the appointments that we save for the day for all doctors
This will mean that if you require an appointment on the day there is more of a chance to get the doctor of your choice if they are consulting that day - We encourage patients to get to know a few different doctors to help ease stress if their preferred doctor is unavailable
